African Council for Accreditation and Accountability (AfCAA)

Enhancing Accountability

In mentoring and nurturing Timothy towards effective leadership and accountability, the apostle Paul writes:

“The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”(2 Timothy 2:2, NIV)

In a similar manner, we too, in our generation, are to develop and commit to upholding standards of accountability in how to interact with others in the course of carrying out our work, and in how we mobilize and utilize the resources entrusted to us

This then is the essence of the AfCAA Standards: To commit to enhancing and sustaining accountability in all areas of our lives – in our

Standard 1: Doctrinal Foundation
Standard 2: Leadership and Governance
Standard 3: Talent Management
Standard 4: Learning and Innovation
Standard 5: Cultural Differences, Acceptance and Interdependence
Standard 6: Financial Management and Disclosure
