Strengthening Stewardship Through Partnership: AfCAA at the GTP Cameroon Gathering

Dr Comlan Prosper Deh, Francophone Africa, Regional Representative at the GTP Cameroon Gathering

From 1st to 5th December 2025, AfCAA deepened its collaboration with Global Trust Partners (GTP) through active participation in the GTP Cameroon Gathering held in Yaoundé. AfCAA was represented by Dr. Comlan Prosper Deh, Regional Representative for Francophone Africa, whose presence focused on onsite teaching and introducing church and Christian organization leaders to AfCAA’s accreditation journey.

Reflecting on the experience, Dr. Deh shared that the gathering provided a valuable opportunity to formally introduce AfCAA to leaders across Francophone Africa. He noted that GTP’s consistent emphasis on transparency and accountability laid a strong foundation for understanding AfCAA’s role in strengthening institutional credibility. During media engagements, GTP leader, Gary Hoag highlighted the urgent need for churches and Christian organizations to address existing gaps in.

Several key fruits emerged from the gathering. First, media exposure significantly expanded awareness. Cameroon’s national broadcaster, CRTV, featured GTP leaders on the Cameroon Daylight morning show and reported on GTP and AfCAA. Second, teaching and discipleship played a central role. Biblical teachings from Titus 1:5, and lessons from Ezra, Nehemiah, and Paul, highlighting the importance of order, oversight, and accountability for sustainable ministry.
Third, AfCAA engagement was strengthened through a detailed presentation by Dr. Deh on AfCAA’s history, mission, standards, accreditation process, and member benefits—resulting in several leaders expressing interest in pursuing accreditation.
