| In August, AfCAA conducted a five-day training on Finance for Non-Finance, as well as Project Planning and Business Management, for the George Whitefield College Explore Regional Managers. The training aimed to enhance their skills in financial management, project planning, communication, and time management, which are key areas for effective ministry and organizational growth. Participants expressed that the AfCAA training on Finance for Non-Finance, Project Planning, and Business Management was enlightening and transformative. It challenged the misconception that theology and finance cannot coexist, emphasizing the need for financial literacy, trustworthiness, and responsibility in ministry. As pastors and theologians, they appreciated gaining practical skills in finance and project management, which they are eager to apply. The sessions broadened their perspectives and left them wanting more learning, highlighting AfCAA’s outstanding work in advancing the Kingdom of God. The training’s impact was clear in their reflections. Several participants expressed that it positively changed their perspectives and attitudes, while others emphasized the importance of relearning and adapting to become more effective in their ministries. At AfCAA, we believe that accountability and excellence begin with equipping leaders to manage resources faithfully and plan strategically. We celebrate the commitment of the GWC Explore Regional Managers and look forward to witnessing the positive outcomes of this training in their work and communities. |
