Pauline is a seasoned Finance and Administration professional with over 18 years of leadership experience across both profit and not-for-profit sectors. She has a proven track record in strategic finance, governance, organizational development, and leadership, positioning her as a resourceful executive committed to operational excellence, ethical leadership, and sustainable impact.
She has successfully led organizational restructuring, governance processes, and accreditation assessments, and has extensive expertise in financial systems, strategic financial planning, risk analysis and mitigation, and compliance (internal and external). Her consultancy work has supported donor compliance, partner capacity building, and strengthened financial accountability.
Her career spans diverse sectors—including Church finance and operations, the Insurance sector, the Legal sector, and SME advisory—where she implemented financial systems, enhanced internal controls, guided organizational transitions, drove business development, and provided financial advisory to both individuals and businesses. She has also overseen operations and offered leadership coaching to build capacity in teams, aligning individual goals with organizational objectives.
Pauline is a strong advocate for Christ-centred institutions operating at the highest standards of accountability and stewardship, believing these should set the example for the world. This conviction led her to AfCAA (African Council for Accreditation and Accountability), which she first encountered in 2018 while working at Karura Community Chapel. Under her leadership, the Church subscribed to AfCAA membership, completed accreditation in the same year, and became the first Church in Africa to be accredited—later advancing to Gold Accreditation through continuous improvement.
In 2021, after transitioning into consultancy, Pauline joined AfCAA as an assessor. Since then, she has grown from intern to lead assessor, successfully completing multiple accreditation processes and knowledge-sharing assignments, particularly in financial management and reporting.
She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), holds a BBA in Finance & Accounting, and is completing her MBA in Project Management (with a thesis on Challenges of Fundraising for Startups and SMEs in Africa). She is also a Certified Leadership Circle Profile Coach.
