AfCAA faces a financial deficit of KES 24.130 million (USD$188,500) due to factors including COVID-19 disruptions, a decline in membership renewals (2020–2021), delayed renewals in 2024/2025 and the loss of a major grant. To address this shortfall, we have launched “The Nehemiah 500” initiative, seeking 500 partners to each contribute a one-time gift of KES 50,000 (USD 375). Through this initiative, AfCAA aims to raise KES 25,000,000 (USD 195,000) to settle the accumulated deficit and restore our operational stability.
