Valentine Gitoho is a financial and management professional with over 35 years’ experience in Africa and Asia with profits and non-profits including Price Waterhouse, the World Bank and the World Council of Churches.
She is a Founder, the first Executive Director and the current Chairperson of the African Council for Accreditation and Accountability (AfCAA) Ltd.
Valentine is the Founder of LEEDS Foundation which engages Christians in the church, marketplace and government in the fulfillment of their God-given visions and missions. AfCAA is one of its initiatives.
Valentine has over twenty years’ board experience in profit and nonprofits both nationally and internationally. The boards are in the service and finance industry namely: accreditation, Church ministries, communications, corporate finance and microfinance, health, leadership, social services and university. She is currently Chairperson of the African Council for Accreditation and Accountability, member of various committees of All Saints Cathedral Church, Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Beacon of Hope, Founder and Management Trustee of LEEDS Foundation, Board member of Trans World Radio International and Council member of the Council of Business and Theology in the World Evangelical Alliance.
She is a speaker on diverse personal and organizational development topics undergirded by Biblical principles.
Valentine is married to Architect James Gitoho since 1986. They have two adult children, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
James and Valentine have served together in the leadership of the Church and in various ministries such us the schools and marriage ministries.
