Peter is a banking and development finance professional with over 17 years of banking and microfinance experience within East Africa.
An innovative growth oriented leader with broad based expertise in strategy design and execution, Peter has served as Chief Executive Officer for REMU Microfinance Bank, Kenya’s 5th largest Microfinance Bank. Prior to this he was the Chief Executive Officer for VisionFund Kenya (World Vision Microfinance subsidiary). He has also worked at Sidian Bank (K-Rep Bank) and Barclays Africa covering Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Seychelles and Egypt.
Peter is passionate about Christian faith influence in the market place, and has been facilitating training of Christian professionals, entrepreneurs and church groups on how to fearlessly influence the corporate culture through biblically based leadership.
This passion led Peter to serve in a team of 4 towards establishment of the African Council for Accreditation and Accountability, where he currently serves as the treasurer.
Peter also serves in the Boards of several non-profit organizations.
Peter is married to Esther and together are blessed with two children, a daughter Ngatha and son Lawi.
